The Rangiora division one men’s hockey team have scraped through with another win, this time 4-3 over High School Old Boys Burnside. They now sit only a win away from breaking into the top four and will hope to carry their good from into this weekend's match against University of Canterbury, who sit just below them. The Northern Bulldogs got back on winning track with a try fest over the Papanui Tigers, 50-24. Despite having two players, Mary Goulding and Helen Matthews, in the Tall Ferns Camp this week, the North Canterbury Premier women’s basketball team were able to continue their unbeaten run, with a win over Lincoln University, 73-65. The North Canterbury netball Premier grade is all tied at the top of the table. Ohoka One sit on 12 points after dispatching Kaiapoi, 66-30.  They are tied with Central, who defeated Ohoka Two, 71-27. Amberley are on 6 points after being beaten by Rangiora High A 42-44. Men bounce back Men bounce back

After their loss to Burwood last weekend, the Waimak CCL men’s team bounced back to beat St Albans Shirley 3-0.
