I also enjoy coaching.  Recently I decided to follow my passion and join the freelance world, in photography and journalism.  My husband and I have three children and enjoy watching their sport, and travelling.

It was runs galore at Sefton Domain, as the home side defeated Oxford Rangiora, and retained their place at the top of the table. The weekend brought double headers on Saturday and Sunday for both the Kaiapoi Kings and Queens in the Premier softball competition.  The Kings were able to win two of their four games. This week saw the Canterbury junior athletes competing in a quadrathon event, where athletes compete for points across four events. North Canterbury’s Xanthe Jane won the 14 girls event. On day one of their Gillette Cup local qualifying matches, Rangiora High School had a solid win over Lincoln High. Lincoln managed 170/10 from 30 of the 40 allocated overs. Kobe Stackhouse was their best batsman scoring 83.
