The Northern Bulldogs have had a terrific season in both the Premiership grade, and the Canterbury Cup reserves competition, making the grand finals in both. The Waimak United men’s squads travelled to Ashburton in the weekend to face Mid Canterbury. The reserves had a fantastic win 6-0 to get the day off to a great start.  The CCL had a much tougher assignment. The Rangiora women's hockey team had a tight match at home on the Waimakariri Turf.  They faced top of the group, Marist, and took them all the way.
