Along with the announcement of Caleb Murray last week, the Rangiora High School girls basketball team have had three players announced in the South Island High School All Stars girls basketball team. Brooke Palmer was selected for her second year, and Georgia Gold and Ashley Rean have been selected for the first time. North Canterbury netball has been a little disrupted by Covid-19, however the top senior grades were back on court over the weekend. The Northern Bulldogs had to work hard for their place in the Canterbury rugby league grand final. They snatched a come from behind win over the Hornby Panthers with a try in the dying minutes.
