Athletics team growing

The North Canterbury athletics team is growing in numbers and confidence, if their results are anything to go by. They had another terrific day out at Nga Puna Wai, at the Canterbury Athletics meet. It was boys relay day, and both the 8 & 9 boys relay teams placed 2nd and 1st respectively. There were season bests from Sophie Andrew (200m), Georgie Kitto (Shotput), Lily Morrison (200m), Lynda-Jane Kitto (200m), Sophie Jolly (High Jump), Charlie Boyd (Long Jump), Ryan Royds (60m), Thabi Musesengwa (Long Jump), Cooper McLean (Discus), Isaac Fernando (Discus), Benji Billington (Discus), Jake Boyd (Discus), Mark Reidie (100m & Long Jump), Connor Troon (200m), Jade Kruger (200m), and Lillie Rayner (200m).
