The Rangiora division one men’s team went down 1-4 to a determined Marist side, at Marist Park in the weekend. Despite a few chances, they were unable to break the Marist defence more than once but battled to the end. This time it was the North Canterbury teams turn to celebrate a 2-1 win. The Hinemoa Kaiapoi Grass women had a 7-2 win over the Hornby Bobcats, and continue their unbeaten run to the title. The Rangiora A men’s Platinum division two team continue to lead their competition too, with a 4-0 win over HSOB Burnside. The B team were beaten by second placed Avon 0-8. In the women’s Platinum division two grade Rangiora A went down to HSOB Burnside 1-3, but Hinemoa Kaiapoi Miro had a win over Marist 3-1.
