Mixed hockey results

Unfortunately, it was another loss for the Rangiora division one women’s team over the weekend. They went down 0-2 to Hornby. However, the Rangiora division one men’s team are flying high at the top of the table, despite having a draw with Mid Canterbury 4-4, and a 3-5 lost to Hornby.

In the Sunday Championship men’s league, the Rangiora Two team had the bye, whilst Rangiora Three went down 2-3 in a close match with the University of Canterbury Barbarians. In the Sunday women’s Premiership, Rangiora lost 0-4 to Harewood Red, and in the Championship, the Rangiora women’s team won by default over Southern.
In the midweek competitions, it was wins all around in the men’s division two competition. Rangiora One remain unbeaten after their 7-0 drubbing of Marist. The Rangiora All Sorts had a 3-1 win over Harewood Red, and the Hinemoa Kaiapoi Kauri team defeated University of Canterbury Romans 3-2.

The Hinemoa Kaiapoi division one women’s team had a hard fought 1-0 win over Carlton Redcliffs White. In division three, Hinemoa Kaiapoi Totara defeated Southern 2-1, and the Rangiora Hurunui side went down 1-4 to Avon.
