Ohoka One have taken a four-point lead in the North Canterbury Netball Premier competition after their win over Central One in the weekend 48-40. Rangiora High School Senior A had a strong win over Ohoka Two 50-20, and Kaiapoi won the battle of the middle of the table over Amberley 51-44. Points: Ohoka One 12, Central 8, RHS SnrA 8, Kaiapoi 5, Amberley 4, Ohoka Two 0. In the Senior A grade Kaiapoi High School now lead the competition with their narrow win over Ashley 36-33. Oxford defeated Ohoka Four 32-18, and Kaiapoi Two had a default win over Central Three. Points: KHS 12, Ashley 9, Kaiapoi Two 9, Oxford 5, Ohoka 4, Central Three 1. It is tied at the top in the Senior Reserve grade between Ohoka Three who defeated Rangiora High School Senior B 41-20, and Woodend who just pipped Central Four 28-26. Rangiora High 10A had a solid victory over Kaiapoi Three 32-24. Points: Ohoka Three 12, Woodend 12, RHS SnrB 8, RHS10A 4, Central Four 2, Kaiapoi Three 1. This weekend netball will be in full swing, now that we are back in Covid Level One, and there are some important match up’s if teams are going to make ground on the leaders.
