Waimakariri Public Facilities Reopen at Alert Level 1

The move to Alert Level 1 announced yesterday means it's a return to business as usual for Waimakariri District Council.

Many of our services are already operating as they were before lockdown. Facilities that weren't will be returning to their normal opening hours over the coming days, but we will be keeping online bookings where they are now in place.

Contact tracing, sanitisation stations and higher levels of cleaning will remain at Council buildings.

Full details on what facilities and services are open, including any safety measures put in place, will be available over the coming days at waimakariri.govt.nz/covid19. Please check back on this link for the most recent information.

We know that we've not out of the woods yet and that families will be struggling with the fall out of the shutdown.

There are resources available to help, and asking for help shows strength. To see the list of local organisations who are ready to help click here.
